About Us
Our Philosophy
At Macgregor Outside School Hours Care, we prioritise a caring and secure environment that embraces diversity and equity. We value the education of families' values, beliefs, and traditions in shaping a child's sense of belonging. By acknowledging and exploring culture, including Our First Nations peoples, we aim to strengthen children's identities. We also emphasize building strong connections with our community to foster a supportive, respectful, and positive environment.

Our standards align with the My Time, Our Place Framework, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and The Alice Springs (Mparntwe) Education Declaration. We create inclusive and supportive environments that foster successful, imaginative, and confident lifelong learners who actively contribute to the community.

We empower children to develop autonomy and respect their right to shape the environment with guidance from educators (Article 12). Embracing each child's uniqueness, we adopt a holistic approach to planning and collaboration, fostering secure and respectful relationships among children, educators, school community, and families. Through authentic documentation and reflective practice, our team creates a meaningful program that caters to all. Our multi-tiered leadership model enables continuous improvement through reflection, analysis, and cyclic planning.

At MOSHC, we educate our community on sustainability, encompassing environmental, social, and economic aspects. We prioritise students as global citizens, empowering them to make choices that benefit themselves, their community, and the planet.
